LiberKey is awesome and most of these apps can be installed on it --- portable apps is also great - they share many, not all apps in common

both will run the usb if you choose to open it that way

Hello,

I don't know if your Firefox 10 is different to mine, but your tutorial appears incorrect.

And will no doubt be confusing to some

Correct method...

From the menu bar

>Bookmarks tab

Then >Show All Bookmarks tab

this will then bring up the library page

4.26.12 Using Chrome 18 + now, finding it much faster than Firefox 11.0; but I found two problems with my Bookmarks :
1. I had imported only some of my current bookmarks to Chrome ( so wonder if I import again I'll have a LOT to delete?) and
2. When I tried to import from Firefox just now, Chrome gaily announced "don"/ but it wasn't: only SOME were there, probably the first set I did a year or so ago; does Chrome only allow you to do this once?

I have Export FF bookmarks fine in HTML, saved on desktop. But dare I import them now? (duplicates)

ALSO: Chrome puts them in a "Other Bookmarks" folder so using them is cumbersome. How to get Chrome to put them in a PRIMARY order?

Hi Michael,

That's a new one... I'd try rebooting and trying again once the computer restarts. Otherwise try following our guide for transferring bookmarks and settings to chrome from firefox (most recent post on front page). If the transfer works, you should be able to export the bookmarks from chrome without a problem. Good luck!

This is probably a duplicate. I run Firefox 10.0.2 under windows 7 - new machine. After installing FF and importing the bookmarks, I cleaned up the bookmarks, getting rid of lots of obsolete sites. After the cleaning, I attempted to export the new bookmarks.HTML file as you described. The result was the HTML file of the original bookmarks. I deleted all bookmarks.HTML and all old .json files from the computer and tried again. Still the old, original bookmarks. Have y;ou seen this before and/or what am I doing wrong.

Thanks for any help.
